Sigma F80 Review

A while ago I ordered the Sigma F80 flat top synthetic kabuki foundation brush.
In total it cost me [with the shipping from the usa to europe] €15,-
Which is a pretty good deal if you ask me, because so far every brush I have from sigma is such a good quality that I actually think it's as good or better than MAC or Sephora brushes.
And those are pretty expensive if you ask me. [ foundation brush MAC : €47,- or £29,-]
I actually bought this brush for liquid foundation, what I don't use often but when I use it I prefer a good brush. The MAC brush I use to use for liquid foundation wasn't that good with every foundation & gives a too nice effect with powder foundation. [ I don't like to use my brushes for powder & liquid]
In the desciption Sigma gives they say:
"designed to deliver a flawless makeup application. The Sigma Makeup F80 is a buffer brush that can be used to blend powder or liquid products." I have never used it with my powder foundation, but I have used it with my liquid foundation [the one from topshop]
& besides the quality of that foundation, I think it doesn't completely gives a flawless application. Because with the liquid version of my foundation the brush feels kind of less soft. I know I do a review so I'm here to explain. But I'm not sure how to call it because stiff & less soft aren't the right words.
You know when you have a brush and without using something it feels smooth. But sometimes some products can make your brush feel less smooth. haha
hard to explain, but I bet everyone has had that once or twice with a brush.
This can also be me who has to get use to this kind of foundation brush [for liquid foundation].
Then the sigma desciption also says:
"The short and dense bristles make it easy to buff your liquid foundation." & on that I have to say that this kind of brush, and especially the way Sigma designed it, indeed makes it a lot easier to buff on liquid foundation in some face areas, the like nose & the eyes.
"The long handle adds comfort to your makeup application. " the only thing I can say on that is that's TRUE.
"The synthetic fibers are ideal to be used with liquid products and can be easily cleaned." The easily clean part I can say that's true, but it also takes longer to dry because the synthetic fibers in the centre are a lot closer than with most of the brushes I use. The ideal to use with liquid products I can't say a lot about because I only used it a view times with my topshop foundation.
[also I don't wear a lot of foundation lately, so that's why I haven't tried this brush with my other foundations]
But overall I'm very very happy with this brush. It has a nice effect on my foundation, it's easy to use, easy to clean & it's really soft ( && the brush is very unique in my opinion)

So that was the review for tooday,
Thanks for reading,
Stay awesome,
xXx Julia
