Lip product Tuesday: Essence longlasting lipstick

Hello Sweethearts,

today I'm going to review the Essence longlasting lipstick line. I own and show the colours; Coral Calling, All you need is red, Dare to wear, On the catwalk!, Natural beauty, Colour crush, Wear berries! and Cotton candy.

I'm first going to show you the swatches and how the colours look on the lips and than I'm going to talk about the lip product in general.

This is Coral calling. I'm not sure if this colour really sooths me or not but the colours is really lovely.

This is All you need is red. The application of this lip product actually reminds me of Candy apple by Revlon, which is a lip butter, because it's more of a build up red.

This is Dare to wear, one of my favourite colours. This is a pink lipstick with a very dark red undertone, very unique if you ask me.

This is On the catwalk! This lipstick is more of a brown with a hint of red. Not really my thing but you never know I may start wearing this all the time.

This is Natural beauty, this lip colour actually reminds me of The Clinique Chubby stick in 04 Mega melon. but a bit more pink. In real life it looks less pink than it does on the picture.

This is Colour Crush, which is a very bright hot pink.

This is Wear berries! which for some reason reminds me of Pretty witty by Essence.

Last but not least Cotton candy, which remind me of Cotton candy and basically is a Barbie pink.

Those are the swatches, but now over the lip product itself.

Essence on this lip line:
" the lipsticks provide your lips with intensive color for several hours without drying them out. the light, creamy formula feels pleasant and covers your lips in ten irresistible shades. you’re sure to find whatever you’re looking for – from bright pink to intensive red and chilled-out berry to subtle nude shades. available in a total of ten colors. "

I totally agree with most of it,, me on this lip line:
" I really like the formula of the lipsticks it's very soft and moisturizing, not out drying at all. Not all colours are sooth for everyone though, some look really chunky on my lips. The colour range is pretty big which makes it less obnoxious if one of the colours is a bit chunky on your lips.
The lipstick is long wear, to me, because it stays in place for a solid 'five' hours. "

My top three favourite colours of this collection:
  1. Colour crush
  2. Dare to wear
  3. Natural beauty
The lipsticks are €2,39 each, which is a bit more expensive than their other lipstick line but these lipsticks are more comparable to high end make up so deff worth the money!

Have you tried one of the lipsticks of this new Essence line yet?
What is your favourite colour? Or top three??
